Petrolia Squires Name Brad Riley Head Coach for 2025–26 Season
The Petrolia Squires are proud to announce Brad Riley as our Head Coach for the 2025–26 OEHL season.
Just like the Squires, Riley’s roots run deep in Lambton County hockey. With over 30 years of coaching experience, he’s led championship runs in Sarnia and Mooretown, earned Lambton Jr. Sting Coach of the Year in 2020, and helped develop players like recent NHL first-rounder Jack Nesbitt.
He also spent time behind the bench here in Petrolia as an assistant coach with the Flyers in 2016, guiding several players who now wear the Squires jersey.
Though he officially stepped away from coaching just two months ago, it was clear the game wasn’t done with him. Known for his passion, his ability to teach life lessons through hockey, and his dedication to the players he coaches, Riley now brings that experience and leadership back to Petrolia.
🏒Welcome home, Coach Riley.
